Okay... I'm going to post this over on the DFGCG mailing list tomorrow, but it's easier to reply to LJ posts, so I thought I'd start here.

If you don't know this already, Chestnut Square is the little living history site that I volunteer at in McKinney. They have decided to do a fashion show in March that features reproduction costumes from 1850-1930. I kindof got put in charge of organizing it with one other lady (eep!), so I am on my knees BEGGING for volunteers who would be willing to be in the show (or even just lend costumes for others to wear). We think it will be on Saturday, March 10th, around 11:00 a.m, but I'll find out more next weekend. We were hoping to get at least one costume from every decade, and we can also do men's, children's, or undies. It has to be "American" in nature though, because that is the scope of the living history site.

So, would any of you good people be willing to help us out this... or know of anybody else who might be interested? I'll bake you cookies and be your best friend forever if you do!

I have my blue late 1890's that I wore to Candlelight!. It's not the most accurate thing I've ever made, but it is still pretty close.

I might even have a hat by then. :D
