We had the guild tea party yesterday, and I had a lot of fun! Not many people came, but that made it a nice little intimate affair that was actually nicer in some ways than the big stuff. I feel like I really got a chance to relax and chat with everybody. The tea service and food were a little more causal than last year's, but everything was yummy, and I found a tea that I really liked, which was surprising since I usually don't like tea. Coleen brought her box-o-vintage patterns again, and I got another stack of fabulous 30's, 40's, and 50's patterns. Score! We talked about doing a 1940's themed event next year, which would be crazy fun, and
bonatirer has pledged to get a croquet set so we can have a victorian croquet day at some point in the future.
Here are my pics in the DFWCG flickr pool, and here's the one group shot where you can see my 1940's dress.

It always cracks me up when I see pictures of
demode next to
sarahbellem because they are both perfectly proportional, but built on entirely different scales. Well, I feel like I've got that effect going on with this picture - that'll teach me for wearing heels!
