*love* the hat! I want to try making a new hat for this event, but I'm not sure if I'll go for something super-wide brimmed, or something more like a flower-pot style. Maybe we should et together for an afternoon of hatmaking fun sometime!
And I hope you are able to throw something together and come! I have several skirt patterns that you are welcome to borrow, and a white blouse from Goodwill would finish it off fine... especially since we can wear banners across our chests.
