Mike took the boy to the Bass Pro Shop today to do manly things, and I went to Finishing Touch Antique Mall in downtown Carrollton today, which has my favorite antiques vendor in the whole world - "Button Up!" - which sells vintage buttons, fabric, photos, and patterns. I bought a few new CDV's and cabinet cards, a giant roll of black soutache (for $6!), and more $1.25 patterns from the 50's. I need to dig out my old scanner and start scanning this stuff. Maybe I'll have some time this week.
Anyway, if you are in the area, you should stop in and shop there sometime! I'm sure they'd appreciate the business.
