I think most of you local folks already have plans, but if anybody is free and looking for something to do next Saturday, I just wanted to remind you about the History Alive event at Farmers Branch. Elijah and I are going to go to see the vintage base ball game and other living history stuff, and I'd love to have some more company if anybody wanted to meet us there. You can get in for free if you dress up too.

I think I'm going to wear my blue and white bustle dress. It won't match the time period of E's Edwardian romper, but it'll be much more comfortable at the game. Hobble skirts and long corsets aren't exactly made for lounging around on the grass!

Have fun out there! I don't have anything to wear and we really can't get out right now (will probably be busy), so we probably won't go. Christopher had found those vintage baseball game groups a while back and had wanted to check those out and do something with them (even just dressing up to watch), but we never got around to it. Looking forward to hearing how it goes and seeing any photos you take :D

You wouldn't have to dress up...

I'd love to hang out with you both if you change your mind!

Do you know what time it is going to be? I would like to go to it as well.

Yay! That's great - I'd love to see you there!! I think the whole event starts at 12:00, and the baseball game is at 1:30 (that's when I was planning on getting there).

1:30 it is. If you're going to wear your blue and white bustle dress, I'll wear my green and white bustle dress. I look forward to seeing you Saturday, then.
