Because of the nature of my new job, I've moved my entire journal to "Friends Only"... but that doesn't mean you aren't still welcome to read it! I would *love* for any costumer, friend, or complete stranger to read my journal... just list me as a friend and I'll add you to my list as well. You could also just send me your LiveJournal profile name or ask for a code and I'll help you set up an account of your very own. You don't even have to use your journal. All you need is a profile so I can list you as a friend, and then you'll be good to go!

Hi Jen:

I've just got my LJ account from Marion and have added you as my friend.

I hope to be yours. I've just made a hemp corset from your site and it is the most comfortable thing I've ever worn. I had to use the smaller hemp (1/8") so I used 4 strands per channel...but it was all good.

thanks for the great help

I just added you to my friends list! And I'm so happy to hear that you like your hemp corset! I really need to make one with the smaller cord someday so I can compare the results.

The only thing I can compare it too is my elizabethan corset made out of the plastic cable ties. (not period, I know but they don't rust. I need to have clothes that I can wash in the gentle cycle after a long hot day in the sun.)

That's why the hemp apealed to me. It has a lot more flexability than the elizabethan but no creases. Have you tried Sical(sp?) or Twine? Home Depot only carries these two kinds other than the nylon kind.

and I would like to continue to read your journal as well if you don't mind. I'm begining to make historic costumes, right now Elizapethans, though I am planning an Cranch gown eventually. I don't have a live journal as of yet, but I am interested in one. If you find a free code would you please let me know?
Thank you.

Hey! I've been such an (avid avid) fan (no, no obsession) and have always followed your diaries and it would be the best moment of my life to be added to your friends list so I can read all of your fabulous things! (Ok, that was a little hyperbolic, but we'll let it slide for now...)

Hi Jen -

I've been following your work for years and would love to be able to continue following it! However, this means I need to ask you to send me a code so I can set up an LJ account. :)

I've been lurking at your website for awhile...at least since I started doing period & semi-period sewing...your information on spiral lacing has been absolutely wonderful :)

I'd love to see what you've been writing if you don't mind me being snoopy. I've already added you to my friends list so I can keep an eye out :)
